Welcome !

Hello and welcome to our new blog, which aims to share news and views for the perennial plant nursery Un Jardin en France, based  at Les Gouttes near Pressignac, in the Charente Limousine.

At last...some rain!!! For the first time in weeks the garden has had some water, and everything looks much better for it. What a relief to hear the patter of raindrops last night.

The asters, especially, will be happy and will flower better now. Little Carlow is my favourite, with it's clusters of bright blue flowers. Next to the pale yellow of Helianthus Lemon Queen it is really rather fabulous.

The gardening club Club Liseron holds it's next meeting on Monday 13th (the second monday of the month, as per usual ) at the salle des fêtes in Massignac. We will be doing a tomato tasting, and talking about dahlia cuttings, as well as the program for next year. See you there!
